Minors are gettin surgery if they’re intersex at birth, in the US especially they get surgically assigned a binary sex even though it is no longer recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and actively opposed by the UN.
And that’s a completely different issue that’s totally separate from the anti trans laws being pushed by the right wing today.
