Curiosity only.

Here in Brazil it’s very common to have several showers a day. I, for example, take two. The first is when I wake up, before I go to work, and the second is when I get home from work. I wake up at 6.30am and get home at 8pm.

edit: I said bath, but I meant shower.

What’s the difference between a quick shower and a full shower where you live?

Not so much a “where I live” as much as my personal routine, but a full shower I fully shampoo/condition my hair, and soap up everything, but for a quick shower I just rinse off and hit pits/groin with the soap

In the US the difference would be shampooing the hair and using soap on your body compared to just rinsing with water.

As an American, I shower every morning to help wake up and get rid of bed head. I shower at night if I’ve worked out that day.

    1 + 1 after heavy exercise

In winter I might skip a day here or there, as it can help dry skin.

I used to do it right before work so I was nice and fresh for work, no I’m wfh and I do it after I finish work as an end of day barrier.

Unless I’m doing yard work or similar, I will shower every other day, sometimes 2 days. My skin gets unbearably dry and itchy if I shower more often.

    Usually once per day

I often skip 1 day if i have no plans and just hang out at home. But never 2.

A shower every couple of days. I’m on well water in a pretty nasty drought so I try to save what water I can.

I shower every night before going to sleep. I like being clean in bed.

Me too. If I sleep without a shower my body itches a lot.

I live on an island in the Mediterranean sea where it’s really hot so I shower at least once a day and usually before I go to bed. When I used to live in Manchester I would shower every other day

In this thread: People who do not grasp the intention of the question and focus on the semantics of a foreign lenguage being translated as best as possible for OP.

For this context alone: BATH = SHOWER

For all other times, yes they do mean different things.

I have a shower every morning, first thing, will only skip a morning shower on the rare day in just laying about the house.

Will have a second shower only if I’ve been doing something sweaty/dirty like mowing or bush walking.

Edit: Worth adding that in an Aussie, not in a humid or overly hot location and don’t have a physical job.

On average, once a day. I had two today, one in the morning, and one after my evening workout, but I won’t take one tomorrow.

There are occasionally days where I end up taking two. It’s usually because of a long bike ride in the morning and showering, then going out for lunch or errands, then mowing the yard in the afternoon.

Typically once every other day, depending. I spend most of my average work week inside at home, and my very thin hair responds much better when I only wash it every 2-3 days. If I’m going out or otherwise get dirty/smelly, it’s cleaning time regardless.
