Small trucks like the Brat were so useful when you just wanted a 2 seater that could move around dirty stuff that you wouldn’t want inside a hatchback. All of the compacts have grown to midsized, and midsized is getting pretty big, and the newer compact trucks are on the cheap end.

Hatchbacks are nice, but you can’t put wet mulch or rotten wood in the back without it stinking up the cabin for months and you can’t hose it out when you are done.

As the ponytailed dude in the Prelude in the Panera drive-thru, hell yeah.

Small cars with fizzy engines are the best for suburban life. I love piddling around town in my little car. It makes driving fun again.

Maybe I’m the odd one out but I do not find that car very appealing.

Sweet AW11! Before I bought my current car (a 2016 Honda Accord) I was on the hunt for an affordable SW20.

Officially, I lost the bidding on one by only $750, although I know that one bidder would have kept going if I elected to outbid him/her. I wonder where that '91 Crimson Red example is now…
