They assaulted him. No problem. He defended and gets 3 assault charges? I guess we’ll see with the court case. But without any evidence to back any of this up, I’m guessing there’s a lot more to this story. Anyone have anything else to show what happened?

It’s a solid default assumption. Remember the trans guy who went out of his way to try to make the 'phobes happy and asked the owner of a gas station which bathroom to use, went to the women’s as directed, got the shit kicked out of him by a bunch of ignorant people, and then got arrested?
No amount of capitulation to the 'phobes is ever going to protect us. Appeasement never works. Trans people have to be militant in pursuit of trans rights; the world will not deliver them by default.
