I’m currently using Jerboa but it’s a little janky so I’m looking for recommendations

Edit: I think I’m gonna be using Eternity for Lemmy. Thanks for the suggestions!

Really enjoying Voyager so far. Avaliable as Android, iOS and PWA and best of all open-source ans free.

100% voyager. Recently moved from iOS to android and voyager is the nicest for me out of them all

Even though it has some bugs (Wrong formatting, backticks inside of other chars), it works nicely. The only thing concerning me is that there have been active pushes to the codeberg repo, last one an hour ago, but no new releases/tags since two months.

I have Memmy in iOS and it’s great. The only thing I could wish is that I could either share memes or download them

    Voyager app

I also use Thunder but voyager is my go to app. I’ve tried most of the others but always end up back with voyager.

Second that. I tried Sync and Boost but ended up liking Voyager better.

    Boost is best no doubt.

But for low end phones (like mine), Jerboa is a good alternative.

Does Boost for Lemmy need more resources than Boost for Reddit of something? BfR ran better than the home screen on my 15 year old tablet.

Haven’t done a direct comparison, but i would say it runs the same.

But like i said i run Jerboa since it’s lighter on design and it’s better optimized (uses Android 8.0 SDK instead of Boost’s Android 5.0 SDK)

Connect for Lemmy. It’s a lot like Relay for Reddit was. And it lets you block users, communities, instances. I still have Thunder app and the /kbin instant app installed, but after the first month I rarely use them. Connect is great.

I tried all of them and I kept going back to Jerboa so I’ve stuck with it for now. I might try them again at some point.

There was always something weird with most of them with the way they implemented profiles, profile pictures, profile banners, community icons and community banners that made them seem off. I haven’t encountered any bugs. I’d be curious to know what bugs people are running into with it.

I have tried Connect, Sync, and Jerboa. They’re all pretty nice, but Jerboa just “feels right” to me. Former BaconReader user fwiw
