This community and site are directly from the reddit chapotraphouse sub. The site was originally named chapochat but eventually changed. The bear picture was posted on the sub like 3 times before being banned.

Each day, the six original posters would come together and chant hymns to ursa major. Their names were Look, At, This, Dope, Ass, and Bear.
