So far I’ve been using thunder and it’s pretty similar ui.

Thunder was the first I tried two weeks ago but didn’t really like it at all. Maybe it’s time to try it again, though it seems I have trouble logging in on it now.

I used to like Liftoff the most, but something changed in the last update and I don’t like the new appearance of the feed as much.

I still go between it, Jerboa and Voyager and sometimes Connect. I don’t like how Liftoff handles replies in the inbox, for one reason. It also shows only combined votes, not separate up/downvotes, while Voyager and Connect require an extra click to vote/reply to comments.

I have Jerboa, Liftoff, Thunder and Connect installed and cycled through them to test them out. But lately i noticed i seem to be gravitating towards Connect.

I think i’m going to try my other installed apps for a while again. I didn’t use those for a couple of updates, so it might well be that they have improved a lot. I’m not having any real attachments like i had with boost as of yet :-)

Thanks, I will try this. Ultimately I know I just want Boost, but I always had a backup reddit client on my phone, so let’s see what ends up taking second place.

Felt the same about Relay, and was really bummed it isn’t making the hop to lemmy. But now that I’m on the team making Thunder, I’m hyped af to make it something even better.

Yeah I mean I used to use Relay since before it was called Relay, but moved to Boost some years back and I did try going back to Relay but Boost really hit the spot for me personally. I am so happy it’s coming over.

Just saw this. I had a old github release, looks slightly better now.

I was using Jerboa and Liftoff alternatively when I found out your comment. Thunder fixes all of my complaints ty!

Gonna try sync eventually. But I’m very very happy with liftoff ATM. It’s honestly perfect other than the scrolling being a bit janky.

I started with Jerboa, but am now using liftoff. Both are . . . OK. I’m not going to bother with another one until Boost gets released.

I’ve been rotating between these. Have had issues with both so start using the ither one when the problems get bad with the current one.

I tried Thunder as well but that was the worst experience.

Thunder continues to top itself with big updates every week, and now it’s officially on the Play Store! If you don’t mind downloading apps from GitHub, the semi-nightly pre-releases are quite stable. Upcoming release already has a bunch more fixes and features, so keep an eye on it even if you bounced off initially!

I’m using Liftoff, it’s still in beta and feels rather clunky but it’ll do until Boost comes out

Same, Lifttoff is still very limited but better than using via browser webapp imo.

Jerboa, I only wish I could swipe to the next post instead of having to back out and then click the next…

I use Connect, having tried most of what’s out there but can’t wait to get my hands on Boost.

I’m sending this comment from “Infinity for Lemmy” which is still alpha. Downloaded it here:

    https://codeberg.org/Bazsalanszky/Infinity-For-Lemmy/releases

Edit: But I had to edit it from the desktop because, as I said the app is alpha but the dev is working actively on it to add more features. The dev is not the original from “Infinity for Reddit”. But since it is open source a new dev picked up the development and started adapting it for Lemmy. 1 day ago it was not possible to add comments, now we can.
