Never been to one but would like to check one out some day.
Is the issue travel or just never got around to it?
Never got around to it because of the travel required. Maybe some day but have settled for seeing some videos instead.
I find them fun! Mostly the dealers hall and especially artists alley. Panels I’ve been to have been a mixed bag, my favorite so far being the “Bad anime” roast panels, which are a ton of fun.
My city held a small one every year, so it was more like local than a normal con would usually be but it was nice
