Is it just me, or is this the right community to ask Linux-related questions?

If you’re asking for CLI or shell help in particular, I’m a mod at [email protected] and [email protected] and we’d welcome it there. But those aren’t as big as this community.

Thanks for sharing these links, I’ve been getting into making shell scripts more and those look like a good spot to browse through for inspiration 🤙

I don’t see anything in the description of the community to suggest that it is not for Linux support.

Seems to be right. I dont think there’s a Linux Questions community yet.

Is it just me, or does this account really seem like a bot account based on post history?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
