Just scrolled Subscribed, didn’t see any porn. Scrolled All and the most I saw was hentai and racial fetish baiting.
I blocked the Lemmy NSFW instance, and that made all the porn go away, which is what I wanted (you do you guys I just don’t care for it).
They’re talking about torture stuff, which I haven’t seen any of but it sounds like it’s NSFW as a whole

For the first few weeks I was continuously blocking communities to get rid of it until I realized blocking the right instance would do it. Now I don’t see any.
How do you block an entire instance?

Just adding that I have the same problem. Whether I try to enable or block NSFW content it won’t save. I can only change it if I log into the web interface
But I want to block porn, not all NSFW stuff is porn…

Honestly I have two Lemmy accounts. One for normal browsing and one for porn. The porn one I only look at pre subscribed subs, so I don’t get random shit. Normal account is NSFW free which is just great.
But turning on a NSFW filter blocks some funny shit that’s just naughty, not pornographic.
If the posts are coming from a porn specific Lemmy instance, you can block it entirely in the filters section. Here’s a shortcut: Settings shortcut: Filters > Instance filters
Torture porn? Haven’t seen anything I would classify as that.
