Wondering if there’s value in an Australia wide community as well? Some stuff just doesn’t fit so well under 1 city

        Looks like there is one on lemmy.ml.

        Hopefully that link works, I thnk I found the correct format to send people there without leaving this instance.

          Yep, that worked perfectly!

          There’s definitely more activity here. I wonder if it would be better to create a new one here just so it can be properly moderated if needed. Last activity over there was 2 years ago.

            There are some newer posts over there when sorting by ‘New’, I have no idea why the ‘Hot’ posts are so old with no activity on them though.

            I agree that we should either have a new community here or add a link to the other community in a sticky / server sidebar note so that we can have more general discussion somewhere.

                Yeh I also reckon it makes sense to have it here from a moderation sake and also just more easily findable, at least until there’s some better ability to merge across different communities
