Anyone have a good replay of the offside on NZ vs Philippines? It looked onside to me, but the camera angle was off on the broadcast and I can’t find any good coverage of it.
The broadcast I watched showed the VAR 3D image and it was her face that was millimetres offside.

That does seem very very tight. I guess they are playing with the “old” off side rule? (Millimeter measure) instead of the new “signicaly” ahead (or whatever the language is). I was hoping they would try out the new rule.
I think the new rule will also have millimeter calls but the attacker gets a significant advantage.
My understanding of the new rule is every goal scoring part of the attackers body needs to be in front of any goal scoring part of the defenders body for it to be offside.

Same. The time difference is too hard for me to be a functioning adult and also watch them. US matches are probably the only ones where I need to worry about friends spoiling the results so may watch tonight live and then put my phone on DND for the 3amEST game.
