For the record, isa lang “foreigner” sa moderators — the founder, on account that he’s Caucasian. But I’m not even sure if he still counts as a “foreigner” in the sense that I don’t consider Sandara or Alex Compton as one. He’s been living here for decades. Magaling pala itong si Leylah Fernandez. Usually when Filipinos hype “one of their own” it’s fueled by pinoy pride dick-riding, but she’s really really good. Not sure lang ano sya sa rankings or if she won any grand slams… but purely on eye-test, it’s top-tier modern day tennis. Masarap panoorin regardless what her lineage is.

Edit: Siya pala yung hina-hype na kalaban ni Raducanu sa Wimbledon Finals a few years ago. Raducanu has struggled since then (no. 288!) while Fernandez is currently 35th.

This is semi-correct. I still browse Reddit but I use the same account. I don’t see the point of using another considering I don’t post anyway and I admitted many times that I still go there, although admittedly posting IS tempting specifically if there’s an interesting topic.

On that note, I only had one alternick ever in r/PH and that was filipin0truther. It was a gimmick account intended to confuse people because he would act like the typical “filipinotruther” but also contradict himself by posting Rappler sources and other random threads. Babaw lang ng kaligayahan ko laughing at the reactions (“Truther is a double agent???”, “So okay lang ang Rappler kung pabor sa argument mo?”) Hahahaha.
