Honestly very interesting grid, wouldn’t immediately say Max will 100% win this one as well. Depending on how wide everyone is at the start and how incident free it is as well. Although the raw speed of that redbull might prove me wrong.

So what do we reckon? I’m going for Max P3 by the end of the Kemmel straight and race lead by lap 3 if it’s dry.

Hopefully RIC will get through the start safely this time, will be interesting to see how he does in the long race.

Max Verstappen wins the Belgian GP making it 8 in a row for Dutch driver and an unprecedented 13 consecutive race wins for Red Bull.

Further down the grid a poor weekend for teammate Sergio Perez leaves his future with the Austrian outfit in doubt.

Sorry I should have lead with a spoiler warning.

I’m getting so bored with max winning, I’m genuinely thinking about cancelling my f1 subscription and watching indycar instead.

I’m just watching formula 1.1 and it’s pretty good. Pretend max doesn’t exist and it’s been a great season

I feel like we all sold our souls for the championship battle excitement of 2021 and now we’re just waiting for 2026.

      • Leclerc was looking at a podium finish but slid into the wall.
      • Stroll was not looking at a podium finish but also slid into the wall.
      • Hot damn the McLaren’s are quick.

      Edit: 0/3, gg boys

That sucks for Piastri to go out, especially after doing so well during rest of the weekend.

Tsunoda looking good for some points, DRic struggling at the back. Ma’s isn’t in the lead after 3 laps, which is nice!

Their gamble on high downforce for a wet race unfortunately hasn’t paid off. If it suddenly starts bucketing it down then Lando can still make a solid comeback if they play the strategy right

They didn’t gamble at all. They don’t have a slim wing upgrade, so if they used one, it would be too inefficient in terms of drag/downforce ratio. They have an upgrade planned for Monza obviously.

Oh interesting, appreciate the info. I thought even their Silverstone wing was less extreme than this one? Unless they just thought that was too inefficient to even consider

All things being equal they should just be exchanging first place repeatedly for the rest of the race, with the second place person having DRS all the time. But I’m sure that won’t happen. How does Verstappen do it?!

The strategies in this race are going to be fantastic. Please God let Ferrari get it right for once.

Why did Sainz stay out for so long, with damage that was obviously going to send him to the back for no points? Is there some penalty for retiring in the first half of a race?
