The cannon is great. I shot a dropship down with it and it went spinning to the ground like a crashing helicopter.
Fucking sweet.
Big fan of the laser cannon, it feels like it hits the sweet spot of being a great “problem solver” of a weapon without being so dominant that it’ll just be the only gun I use all mission, or the only support weapon I ever take.
The HMG I’m less fond of though. I haven’t used it as much, but I’m seeing much less of a use case for it. Any time I would see a use for the HMG, I think the LMG or MMG would just be better. So far, anyway.
Pretty much my thoughts too. I’ve tried the HMG at all three speeds and it just burns through bullets without making as much impact. Then you’ve got the static reload that goes with it.
I would say that for me the Stalwart is a more useful gun in that role at the moment as you’ve got the rpm but none of the downsides of a static reload.
I’ve been rocking the sickle and laser cannon augmented with an E.A.T.
Wonder if the quasar can replace laser cannon and E.A.T.
Reporting back in - it feels too clunky to use mid battle, but oh my God is it a beast at downing drop ships.
