After watching several up-close videos of deer, I have concluded that their "graceful" image is propaganda and that they are in fact derpy gangly creatures

This is what happens when you evolve to eat nothing but fucking leaves and grass.

This is probably where stories of skinwalkers come from because if I saw this shit in an age before germ theory I would throw myself down on the ground and weep for god

I’m not a veterinarian, but assuming the story is real, it sounds like the deer has spongiform encephalopathy, or one of those conditions that make you do really stupid, counter-intuitive shit.

Well, I often perceive derpy gangly humans as “graceful” so maybe it’s not propaganda.

Deer are disgusting spider zombies that owe me thousands of dollars for property damage and I yearn for wolves

Are deers our derpy animal comrades? I thought it was cats. Is this why pigs like to snipe deer on the weekends?

Unfortunately cats are bourgeois. Deer are comrades.

They are profoundly stupid animals. Very beautiful, but nothing going on upstairs at all.

I’ve seen them up close and find them beautiful, but they are a little silly and it would be real nice to get some mountain lions.

they’re like greyhounds or other fast running animals. they look incredible during fast locomotion, pure grace and their form suggests their function, so they look majestic when standing alert, ready to run… but when they are just puttering around, taking a dump, or trying to get at something… they are a complete absurdity.

They’re so damn dumb too. I walk outside and they get scared, run into the fence, sometimes multiple times, turn around and run right into oncoming traffic…

It actually makes me feel pretty terrible, in some way I not only get the idiots killed I also ruin someone’s day as their car is now fucked up… Stupid deer.

Rather than silly, they are actually dangerous vectors for disease.

They’re graceful when running but when they try to amble its like watching two guys on stilts trying to ride the same unicycle
