I think these generation specific articles are just meant to get boomers to keep punching down on younger generations.
I’m an elder millennial but since I’m pretty terminally online and have some zoomer friends I pick up on slang well enough, I’d like to think. But if you ever read one of those “zoomer/alpha slang words” articles it’s like no one is even using half the the ones they list.
It’s tradition. They were writing garbage internet slang articles in the 90’s, using acronyms that no one ever used.
