I’d keep using xubuntu if it weren’t for snap. Man, it pisses me off so much not being to uninstall it without the possibility of breaking something.
I used to use xubuntu on a very old (more than a decade old sony laptop) but an os update broke some of the software I used. Switched to mxlinux (with xfce). More bloated but at least it works out of the box
Is it with the newest Ubuntu update? Heard that there were some people having a problem with it as well on initial release and had to reinstall the whole OS.
Currently using both Pop OS and Fedora on separate machines and I had no problems with those atm.
happened during the pandemic. if i recall correctly, it was the update from 20.04 to 22.04.
i want to try Debian next
One lesson I learn is to always backup before upgrading the OS kasi there’s a possibility talaga na magkaproblema.
Same. Wanted to test out Debian, too, kasi stable daw tsaka even if it’s outdated, we can use flatpak naman.

Yung bwisit na update ng Win11 sa taskbar na forever syang nasa bottom ng screen.
As someone used to working on Virtual Machines (VMs), taskbar placement is my way of knowing kung nasa VM ba ko or nasa local PC. Grrr.
Yung lalagyan ng condiments yung pagkain (calamansi with pancit or hot sauce sa pizza) and deciding for everyone when they could just take their own portion and apply it there. As someone who hates putting anything on my food, it pisses me the f off.

1 possible hurdle to entry is picking an instance. I wanted to say “Just pick any instance.” but there are instances with no downvote feature. There are instances without porn. We can say “Just pick sopuli.xyz.” It’s a 👍 general suggestion. I didn’t know that the instances are different when I signed up on Lemmy. Someone suggested lemmy.world. I followed him and here I am.

Same here, mostly because I’ve been a Mavs fan since the early 90s. I’ve witnessed the entirety of the Nowitzki era and the Three Js, and now Luka.
When people assume a certain team has all the advantages and going to curb stomp someone, it usually doesn’t work out as they expect. I feel like Dallas is going to have a gameplan for the Celtics spacing and steal a few wins. It’s not like they haven’t seen a five-out offense before. OKC had one when Giddey sat.

Uniteam was a crock of shit to begin with. Simula pa lang against na mga Duterte dun kay BBM, si Sarah lang talaga “kampi” sa kanya. The funny thing is, Duterte’s allies are starting to gravitate towards BBM now like Bato and Bong Go.

Hayyyy Dallas. Better luck next year kaso pahirap ng pahirap sa West so even a playoff slot isn’t promised. At kung makabalik naman sila sa Finals tapos Boston pa rin kalaban at andyan pa si Kyrie, wala rin. Feel ko talaga sinayang nila G2 and G3 and this series is a lot closer than the results show, but that’s not going to be on the history books.
