My favourite thing ever seen in source code was a comment that read “this code is temporary” with developer initials and a date that was at the time about 5 years ago.
Followed by another dated comment from about 3 years later that read “Temporary my ass”

Glad to see the use of “temporary” code started early.

Dear Americans, can smb. Please translate the date into ISO8601? I can’t figure out what the hell year day and month is in your example here.
Obviously 22 is the month, then of course 07 is the day so that means 5 is the year. Easy.
Hear me out, the entire universe is most likely temporary, so technically all the code you write is in fact temporary.
