People who drive dangerously (such as traffic weaving, driving 30+ over the speed limit or making dangerous traffic maneuvers) deserve to have their licenses either revoked or forced to reacquire their license as if they never had one. I’m genuinely sick and tired of almost getting rear-ended or merged into on a daily basis.

I see so much crazy shit while driving, almost every time I have to go out. I also can’t stand how much I get tailgated. It’s like practically non-stop, even though I am not a sluggish driver, and as someone who has been rear-ended before, it makes me even more anxious than driving already does.

Anyway fuck driving and fuck cars.

I swear to fucking god people just love being assholes and driving 20 over the speed limit in residential zones.

Cars always pass me when I’m riding on roads, no matter how fast I’m already going or what the speed limit is, it’s like they cannot accept being behind anything that’s not a car.

Figure-eighting and burning rubber (and putting even more microplastic into the air) past midnight in a residential zone is what too many carbrains strive for.

Have pet and non pet cities. Pet cities you can have pets everywhere including restaurants. Non pet you can have pets nowhere not even on the sidewalk.

You should be required to demonstrate at 9 months that your dog can sit, heel, stay, is not reactive to strangers, children, or animals, and will return when commanded to. If you fail any of those you lose your dog and your privilege to own dogs. No exceptions.

    Criminalize cars

    Criminalize headlights

Criminalize headlights mounted higher than 18" above the ground

Criminalize headlights aimed higher than 18" above the ground

I’m cool with LEDs though, lights that use less power and last longer are cool.

Small towns should somehow make room for even more pizza places. Having 10 is not enough choice and the free market demands it.

One of the few redeeming factors of Sweden is that there are so many pizza places that make better pizzas for cheap than the American chains, that Dominos et al. barely have any presence. Same with Starbucks and cafés.

The bar for pizza to be good is not even that high, I don’t understand how it is constantly missed. It’s tomato sauce, cheese, and carbs. It is harder to make that taste bad than good

I have three in my small town, all within an 1/8th of a mile

The bad one, the expensive one and a Domino’s

The townies threatened to riot when the Domino’s moved into the old Dunkin’ Donuts building, but they didn’t do jack

Especially because the new Dunkin Donuts building was bigger and the drive-through didn’t demolish anyone’s suspension

Fight clubs should be legal. We need a place to beat each other up for a little bit then go have a beer after. At least, that’s how it works in frostpunk.

Edit: bear, beer. Same thing we’ll just have a good time

Barring emergencies and necessary maintenance personnel, everyone should get one day a week where nothing is open and we all just hang out. A day where almost nobody is working and you only do activities that don’t require other people’s labor. Proletarian sabbath/shabbat, basically.

You can’t say your salsa is “hot” if the hottest pepper involved is a jalapeño.

If I see a keurig in your house I’m going to think there’s something wrong with you.

You should learn to put up with a level of obnoxious behavior from children, even in public. Yes even if you don’t have kids yourself. They’re going to be paying for your social security when you’re old.

The problem isn’t LED headlights as much as it is aftermarket LED headlights not working with the reflectors intended for halogen ones. This causes them to reflect light up as well as down, making them more blinding to other drivers. A car is only intended for the type of bulb it was sold with, and changing the bulb to a different type is a serious safety hazard.

And secondly for some stupid reason the earlier model cars from American manufacturers with LED headlights used PWM to control the brightness, giving them the flickering appearance (and for many people a headache).

And the worst part is that a good LED headlight is indistinguishable from a halogen one, so there’s really no way to fix their reputation.

We also need regulations on headlight height, most of the popular big pickup trucks and SUVs have their headlights higher up than the roof of my hatchback. It’s not safe to drive when even properly installed lights are shining straight in through the windshield.
