This is going to be a problem with all electric vehicles, which makes it that much worse that we refuse to make anything affordable and we’ve essentially banned China from selling theirs here.
I love the hot-swap design where the batteries are modular and replaceable. “charging” is swapping your battery for a fully charged one. I read somewhere that some cities in China have been using this for transit buses

This is what I tell people. Like even the most climate change addled earth is immensely more habitable for humans than Mars is.
