When they blame us for the loss, remember to ask them this: if we are such a powerful, important voting bloc then why did Kamala choose to speak over us rather than recognising that the most important factor in politics is to make crucial compromises in order to achieve progress and to prevent Trump from seizing power?

Use it to defend West Asians from the inevitable hate that will be directed at them for “making” Kamala lose as well, please.

Seriously is there any other demographic that is expected to be this supportive while actively explicitly being told to fuck off for every single topic.

Didn’t Biden say that black people aren’t black if they don’t vote for him? I do think a lot of libs have learned to keep those thoughts private but believe me many still think it even if they don’t say it.

Yea it’s a toss up they get more useless platitudes and pandering when dems can manage to keep their fucking masks on for 5 seconds but they get fucked over way more by actual policies than nebulous progressives do.

Like everytime an election gets close and dems decode to lean into the tough on crime rhetoric.

LGBT folk but the liberals have learned to keep their opinions a little closer to their chest on that issue because they rightly understand it would make them look like the assholes they truly are if they indulged their scold instincts on them like they do to us.

I think it’s one of the reasons they constantly berate us. They learned to keep the mask on but they have a pathological need to blame and we make a convenient target for them. Because we all know if they could get away with it they’d talk about gay, trans, black, etc the same way. I am grateful their stupid civility fetishism keeps their mouths shut sometimes.

Typical tankies. Yes she’s committing genocide and starting World War 3, but she’s laughing maniacally and insisting she’s joyful while doing it. Why do you hate joy? Don’t you want to laugh at the Nuremberg Rally with the rest of us?

I’m expecting WI, AZ and GA to rig their elections to give Trump the W regardless. Really don’t think it matters how any of us vote and most of us here understand that we’re a deeply undemocratic nation.

I had a friend who would talk a lot about US politics, and I kept trying to tell him about how Trump/Republicans have been stacking the election for 4 years… like how does anyone actually expect this to go without some sort of violence?

That was pretty radicalizing for me as a kid. Seeing these people just give up in Florida despite all sorts of fishy stuff going on. Then 911. Then the MASSIVE protests against escalation into Iraq all over the world. It was incredible and fruitless. It ended up being incredibly disappointing. Protests literally do nothing.

I still don’t understand who is participating in these polls.

2020 I did participate in one re Biden and Trump, but here’s the thing. I was doing a purge of the junk e-mail account, you know, the one you keep to divert shit to, then generally mass delete. Before doing a delete all, I did a quick scroll and saw something oddly academic, for this email, and actually clicked into it (who does that?!?!). It was what it looked like and I participated, x3.

That said, if that’s how they’re polling, it’s not good.

I’m in Michigan and I got a poll for Trump v Biden before and after the debate. It came via text. Haven’t gotten one since though.

In Michigan someone (probably the Democrats) is actually sending canvassers door-to-door to do polling.

I (in NC) randomly get texts with poll links and make sure to participate.

Pretty much. Why bother polling California or Alabama? Waste of money.

Edit: and I really just mean this in the context of the presidential race. State parties and candidates likely poll for their own district or informational purposes, but the extent and intensity will differ dramatically.
