Lemmyworld is the biggest right wing instace and that kinda ruins the other instances with their libs and fash users, they also working in some java alternative to lemmy but they have zero progress on that

They’ve been havin struggle sessions about hexbear nearly once a week. We’re on their minds a lot lol, especially peeps from .dbzero and .world.

My guilty pleasure has been perusing those threads and then thru the biggest crybaby’s modlogs to enjoy the sweet schadenfreude of the hexbear thread where they got clowned.

You’re better than i. I relish their pain and the fact they think far more about us than we them, but i cannot resist watching them twist and seethe in anger. It is low, i know, but i’m still so angry at shitlibs for their smug and stupid worldview being the only voice i could hear and speak with for so long… It twisted me some, and I’ll never stop hatin’ baby.

I watch them cry out in pain and surprise after spouting the nonsense that gets them lib-upvotes and am healed. They stand in for every talking head i scream at on the tv. Their sweet pained voices are answers from all those i can’t hold accountable.

Yes, yes I am bitter. I’m working on it.

the ops are usually libs who have been recently banned from here, misrepresenting their ban and admonishing others to “stay away for their own safety”. Beyond regular ol hurt feelings i don’t know why we stick in their craw so bad

The average Hexbear post is pretty wild when you’re a lib. I remember finding r/cth in 2016 and the shit people would say casually in the comments kinda blew me away. “Do it again Sherman” goes crazy with a Southern education.

Even then as a Berniebro they were a lot closer to my politics than 2016 reddit (🤮). Funnier too

yeah i was a newly minted socdem coming from vague left-libertarianism that often posted in r/politics and kept hearing about how scary r/cth was.

so i made a different account to go check it out (because god forbid i get banned from everywhere for touching the forbidden subreddit)

some of that stuff shocked me a bit at fiorst but only took me a few days to realize everyone was far more progressive then the so called “left as it gets” libs. also there was none of that reddit smarm and “personal responsibility, FAFO” BS.

then I was riding the sub along with the pod during the Great Bernie Ratfuck finally made the stalin, lenin and mao posting no longer seem shocking but instead deeply prophetic

I think part of the reason is that we’re their reminder that they aren’t “as left as it gets”. Which is why they push the “redfash” line so much, it’s how they cope.

There are three types of takes out in the trenches. Standard “tankie” takes, standard “vote blue no matter who” shitlib takes, and bizarre, idiosyncratic takes that exactly one person on earth believes, but which they’ll treat as the most obvious thing in the world.

Most recently, I was informed that Marxism is not worth studying on the basis that Marx culturally appropriated communism from indigenous Australians. PugJesus, one of the most prolific shitlib posters, has some great material on Marxism too.

The bizarre, ideosyncratic takes always seem to circle back around to, “And that’s why you should vote blue no matter who, also China and Russia are committing genocide,” but they spice things up and you get to play this fun little game of trying to decipher the brainworms while they yell at you.

I only remember other instances when I load up Hexbear and forget to press “local”. I read a few awful and unfunny posts and then realize that I made a huge mistake

.Midwest supports Hexbear, but I don’t see as many of us posting out there. But you can see us if your looking at /all, correct? I don’t think we have many popular comms.

.world is 80% shitlibs and 15% amateur leftists, or un-radicalized, but well meaning socdems. And 5% fucking idiots. This is just re: posts in comms and conversation (both .world and those federated) happening in the posts. Imo the conversation in the unimportant-but-popular comms on .ml look a lot like their (sometimes comparable in size) .world equivalent. But a lot more shitlib (and “you better fucking vote” [someone post me an emoji I can put there]) stuff posted .world memes and other such comms. Sometimes I see outright jabs at leftists (and I have downvotes so I use them), but mostly just stupid lib stuff.

Also, I love seeing some of my Hexbear comrades out in the .ml and other discussions. I like your words @[email protected] !

It’s funny cause hexbear was one of the og instances along with like lemmy.ml and the contributors here do a lot of heavy lifting for the lemmy project as a whole lol like I think hexbear devs made pinning threads for lemmy possible

Lemmy.world is the biggest instance, and given it being an anti-Marxist instance designed to replicate Reddit, it has the most turbo-radlibs that couldn’t stay on Reddit through the API crisis. Zionism, transphobia, racism, all manner of the worst takes possible. The smuggest people on the Fediverse, and the rudest.

Sh.itjust.works is 50/50 lib/fascist, NCD and MeanwhileOnGrad push the fascism.

    Lemmy.ca is just landlords.

Lemm.ee is more of a tool than an instance.

Lemmy.ml is constantly a struggle session, .worlders outnumber communists and anarchists but the mods side with the communists, so it’s constantly a struggle.

Grad is grad, doing fine it seems.

Dbzer0 still pretends to be okay with Marxists, but they can’t support AES. Weird spot, doing okayish.

Solarpunk is small but has your typical anti-AES anarchist slant, some users are more reasonable than others, which is just a symptom of putting aesthetic over politics.

    Think that does it!

Someone from reddit.world accused me of being a right-wing troll and it started a dog pile session where they got torn apart by a dozen other commenters for being a moron. It was actually really affirming that my neurotic screaming into the void has been acknowledged and accepted.

    Never stop posting. 😏

I got banned for world news because i was asking why something was deleted as a comment.

Worst thing about lemmy is having no way to ask questions to mods other than just spam dming.

Although Pretty sure it was because I kept arguing with one of the protected pro Israel accounts based on how all but that accounts comments were getting removed in any thread
