This one is pretty specific to Factorio, although it has spread to other factory games Fandom because they’re basically all the same Fandom.
I don’t think so, I think the term could be a lot older than Factorio.
Factorio has been around for a while now. I can’t think of another place that term would have been used before.
Pretty sure I heard it in a modded minecraft Yogscast episode.
Also, there are some pretty massive factories in real life, as well.
