Close: he won it for ending it but it later came out that he deliberately extended it in order to help Nixon’s presidential campaign.
Also, he wanted to stop North Vietnamese trains by blowing up the tracks with NUCLEAR WEAPONS in spite of that making no fucking sense except from the standpoint of maximizing death and suffering.
I stopped taking the Nobel Peace Prize seriously when both Kissinger and Arafat won them.
