I am of the opinion that Die Hard is a Christmas movie.

Thank you for recommending this! I’ve always liked her song on the Barenaked Ladies Christmas album. Wintersong now has a permanent spot in my Christmas rotation for a relaxing listen.

Glad you enjoyed it! And I just listened to the barenaked ladies christmas album, thanks for the rec! I don’t have many Christmas songs in that style, so it’s good to expand my options.

If you liked Wintersong there’s a chance you may also like Christmas Day by Dido

Look for wassailing music. It’s old caroling music that tends german, and can be a nice change of pace.

Patty Gurdy feat. Fiddler’s Green - The Yule Fiddler (Christmas Time Is Coming 'Round Today) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqesZeoiE6I

She has a lot of great stuff with a rare instrument, she’s also in a pirate-metal band playing it

Barenaked For The Holidays has some great tracks but Elf’s Lament is my favorite since it’s a cynical take on the commercialism of Christmas. https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=M4dxqHmhLaE
