This is how it begins. You keep calling territory that isn’t yours your territory until it sounds normal to those that you have created a cult or pact with. Then it doesn’t seem so abnormal when you decide it is yours.

People who voted Trump in are actually fucking stupid.

People who voted Trump in are actually fucking stupid.

I keep seeing liberals roll this one out, despite spending the last six months shamelessly pandering to conservative voters. Can’t imagine why a Democrat would lose an election with this strategy. “You’re an idiot! You’re an idiot! You’re an idiot! Oh, um, vote for me, I actually love strong border policies and Israel is the Best and transgender athletes are a big problem, tee-hee! Fuck, fuck, fuck, you’re an idiot, you’re an idiot!”

Love how true this is yet is currently at -19.

Liberals can’t cope with their election loss, in which their parties strategy was to court people who would never vote for them in the first place instead of their base who they actually secretly hate and just pander to for votes yet will never do anything for because it counters their donors wishes.

The tyranny of countries more free than US. Only one thing to do. Yes, that is destroy them not copy them. Why would you want to adopt a better system when you can destroy theirs and claim yours was the best all along.

Is that the Philippines in the corner there?

Reminds me of Japan taking Hawaii in terms of how far of a stretch it is.

Yo, why do they want the Caribbean? They already have P.R. and they treat it like an S.T.D. they’re ignoring.

The US invaded Dominican Republic in the 1960s, and they passed on a serious offer to acquire Cuba (sometime before Bautista and Castro).

I think the overseas territories on this map are basically everything the US held at any time, and the stuff they could conceivably have held onto.

Mexican here. Those are the states unpleasant accents so I’m on board with this plan.

All this talk of expanding the USA from everyone is… concerning.

Also this map includes Iceland, northern Sicily and the Faroe Islands. What?

Honestly wouldn’t mind us breaking up some states or combining some states.

California for example, while liberal leaning from the outside, got some real counties that could use a FAFO separation.

At a glance, the map also gives part of Idaho to Oregon and creates Jefferson between Oregon and California. The plan seems to be to reduce the proportion of Democrats in existing blue states to tilt them red for the EC, and to break up large red states to maximize the number of Republican senators without hurting their standing in the House or EC.

My first thought was, fuck yeah! I’m game for a North American Union. But it appears that’s not what they meant.

I love how even unconsciously they can’t take Mexico. I know it’s most probably racism, but we still prevail prior to come back.

I know it’s a joke, but Mexico has been a US colony since the NAFTA was established.

Not joking. The USA can take Mexico anytime, but they hardly could keep it. Also, the USA does not rule in Mexico, at least not openly. If you take that USA meddling in other countries affairs is enough to call it a colony, well, then everyone in the world is a colony of the USA. NAFTA was a trade agreement, but it was contingent to whatever is agreed between governments, not whatever the US government says. The renegotiation of NAFTA, the USMCA, is proof of this. If the USA government thinks countries in the world do not have options to trade, it’s their mistake. At this point they can be replaced, but that doesn’t help anybody in North America.

Any country that is not prepared to get the Venezuala/Cuba/Iran/Russia/North Korea treatment will do what the US tells it.

That’s getting old by the hour and I hope it keeps happening like that. What the US government keeps doing in Cuba is globally despised. Cuba just joined BRICS, and at least I hope they can profit from their new trade partners.

This was a map posted on a map subreddit a while ago, as a kind of alternative history/future. I can’t remember the details but I remember seeing it.

Trump’s voting base don’t have the skill to make work like this, nor apparently the imagination. What this is indicative of is that a portion Trump’s voting base is dreaming of war and conquest, and in lieu of recent comments by Trump, Trump too.

Don’t question the map, I’m sure someone with some time can find the original poster but it would have been made for some fun.

There are probably a thousand comments to be made, but the one I’ll say is, MAGA thinks Texas, The Lonestar State, is going to cede territory? We can’t even agree on statehood for DC or Puerto Rico.
