The older I get, the longer hangovers last. I’ve gotten pretty good at squashing them. The secret is to take a multivitamin plus b-12 and iron before bed, along with plenty of water and electrolytes. If I still feel off in the morning, a fruit smoothie with kale sets me straight.

After 24/25 drinking more than 2 drinks guarantees I feel bad the next day. I noticed that if I want to drink that much, I have to drink earlier, before 8pm, drink water too, and space them out. If I drink 2-3 starting late at night 10pm or later I will feel horrible the next day.

Went back to light beer over IPAs. I also stop drinking 3ish hours before bed and switch to water. Normally wake up around 5am to pee and I’ll take ibuprofen if I still have a headache.

An hour or two if I drink beer or god forbid wine. Not at all if I drink liquor but I am young so 🤷

Gone by morning usually, maybe a mild mild mild headache or fuzziness into tge afternoon every once in a while. Gotten better at judging where I’m at and not wanting to go as hard, as well as hydrating better

    Don’t drink quite so much.

Seriously, hangovers are a sign of excessive drinking. Last memorable one I had was 16 years ago.

I think this may be body dependent. Sometimes I get a nasty hangover headache from just two drinks. Lady weekend I pounded like 5 and a half drinks in an hour or two, I was drunk and queasy until deep into the next morning and no hangover. I think it’s more about what you eat and drink besides the alcohol.

I don’t drink as often as I used to these days and noticed that there’s short term tolerance for alcohol. Like if I get a case of beer, if I have 4 the first night after going some months without drinking more than one drink, I’ll often stop before getting to 4 because I’m feeling like the drunk is going in a bad direction. But if I have what I can one night, then the next night 4 isn’t a big deal.

Same thing seemed to happen with hangovers.

Depends on my previous hydration and if I had some water in between drinks. Never had one that lasted more than a dayoif feeling fuzzy and out of it.

I personally don’t get hangovers because I moderate my alcohol intake…Chasing with small sips of water or nonalcoholic drinks, I only remember feeling really fuzzy after a night of bad choices as a younger man. It lasted hours, but was more like a temporary brain fog and not very difficult to overcome.

I don’t drink often, and not enough to get drunk. I just wanted to say you should drink as much water as you can and eat something, even if it’s just a piece of bread.

I’m almost 40 and I never get hangovers because I have a glass of water between drinks and make sure to drink electrolytes before bed.

Back in college I would get really bad hangovers a few times. Here is how the absolute worst ones felt.

    1 day feeling like trash.

the next day being weak and no energy but feeling so fresh and free, it’s a weird feeling.

Day after that I’m all good.

Then I can’t drink for a long time after that.
