This comments remind me of youtube videos from the early 2010s where they’d end the video by saying “And don’t forget to subscribe. It’s free and easy!”

If you do, and want her to know, then yes say it.

Does she say it to you?

My family never really said it to each other. It just wasn’t normalized. Then one day I started thinking I may not have them around forever and I wanted to tell them. So I did. Mostly “love you, bye” when ending a call. And they were a little weirded out at first, but said it back. Now if I wait a beat before saying it, they’ll say it first!

It depends entirely on how you both communicate. I haven’t said it to my sister either and didn’t realise before reading your post. It’s all fine as long as you have a good relationship.

I don’t like to say it to anyone but my partner and my kids.

I like to show it though. And let’s be honest, does saying it really mean that much, if you don’t show it?

You never know when you’ll never have the chance again. Saying “i love you” is free and requires no effort to do. You should tell your loved ones that you love them.

Watch anime more, bro. Then you will less likely to shy from saying “i love you” to your sister.

Go to her, take her by the hand, get on one knee, stare into her eyes, wait for her to blush, and say “my dearest sister, pull my finger”.
