I post alot of pics, and was just curious which format you prefer your pics to come in Landscape (PC) or Portrait (Mobile)? I usually look for landscape, cuz I’m oldschool and mostly do my perusing on PC, but you mostly mobile folk probably like Portrait.
So which do you want more of?

These days even when I’m on desktop I have a huge monitor so I typically multitask by splitting the screen in two, so portrait is still the preference for me. Obviously artistic intent and all that comes first, but in vacuum my preference is portrait.
For me, the fediverse is 100% mobile. Even when I’m on my PC, I grab my mobile for lemmy/mastodon/pixelfed
Whatever fits the subject and intent of the photographer. Like you said, people with landscape devices would prefer landscape and people with portrait devices would prefer portrait. Both have ways of handling suboptimal pictures.
So do whatever is optimal for the situation.
Edit: LOL, just noticed this was posted on NSFW. Still, my argument still stands. If you want to make a portrait of someone use the portrait orientation. If the person is lying on a bed or so landscape might be better. For closeups just do whatever the anatomical feature of your choice demands.
