Pride and Prejudice
Botulinum toxin
You can blame @[email protected] for that one.
People being rude to customer facing employees.
Tailgating
I would tack on shitty drivers in general. People driving in the shoulder just bc they’re in a hurry or think they’re important, not using turn signals, not letting people merge, being distracted using their phone, weaving through traffic at high speed; things got way worse during the pandemic and they haven’t at all improved at least as far as I can tell.
Noise.
The sound of other people eating.
Littering.
Intolerance.
For me it’s this, and the Dutch.
How paradoxical.
No it isn’t. Tolerance is a social contract; if you don’t abide by it you don’t get to be protected by it. Simple as.
Just riffing on a popular concept. I totally agree.

Inconsideration. Drives me absolutely crazy.
Stupid things like being at work, someone uses the last of something and just leaves the empty box and tells no one that we’re out. To me that says “fuck you, someone else can clean this. I got what I need, the person who needs it next can say we need more.”
Try to get a quick lunch, sit down to eat, asshole in corner listening to tiktok at full volume, imagine murdering this pos through the entire meal.
His name is Lou and he drives me insane…
The full volume is annoying enough, but shit like tiktok is like listening to someone change the channel every 5 seconds… And at full volume…

Outside the realm of Political Economy, I really can’t stand it when people cancel plans last second, especially if they ghost. If you’re going to cancel on the group hangout, let us know!
This one drives me up the Fucking Wall™, because how difficult is it to spend 2 seconds letting people know through text that you’re not going? it’s so inconsiderate and immature.
If they do that more than a few times I’m not inviting them anymore
Agreed! Having to manage that with the TTRPG group I run right now. Cutting it close.
I used to do this when I felt unwelcome (I actually was). Maybe you could make sure your friends know you really would like them to come
Oh they definitely do know they are welcome, but I appreciate the advice!
People who think they’re an island. I don’t know how to describe it. People who operate like little effort should be expended on the fact that other humans exist around them and they’re part of society along with some responsibility for that society. Doesn’t matter if it’s stopping in the middle of a busy sidewalk in a group and blocking it, driving the speed limit in the passing lane, or utterly destroying the use of spelling, grammar, and punctuation in an online post forcing the reader to translate it into something meaningful. People unwilling to return the courtesies and efforts those around them offer by default.
At this point, everything.
Hear you there!
Wood in my mouth; I struggle with popsicle sticks and chopsticks as a result.
Cars, plastic, capitalism and fascism.

To future readers, Would quotes better suite the flavor of the above post, or a conjunction of the colon with quotes?
Idiots.
Though sometimes that includes myself.
Bullying, weather it is physical, intellectual or emotional…it just grinds my gears.
People who call putting an ipad in front of their kid “parenting”.
