I boycott when I believe it will make a difference, apartheid south Africa worked because the pressure on states to do the same worked.

Israel is a good candidate. US will be as well. Other places harder. Like when EU bought oil from (us supported) ISIS via Turkey…

Add China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Venezuala, Turkey, and maybe four or so countries in Africa.

    EDIT: Israel, Hungary, Myanmar, Afghanistan

There’s probably at least 20 more. Should anyone be investing in Myanmar right now? What about pseudo-dictatorships like Turkey or Hungary? Maybe avoid the narcostates too…

      What do I know.

Turkey was actually already on the list, but yes it would have quite a few more if the only qualifier is violent rhetoric, harmful trade practices, and lack of human rights. Sadly I think more countries might be on the list than not.

Nah, Mexico is called a narco state but it’s a country of a good people with a good government (if such a thing exists in any country), it just has a big crime problem, boycotting it would only make it worse

Also the narcostates are narcostates because of the CIA shipping them free drugs to destabilize the area.
