This seems like a good place so far tbh
To about 90% I have. Some communities still simply don’t exist or are essentially dead, so for the times where I need something really specific or just a general content fix I still wander over. But it’s been a fraction of the time I spent there previously.
Slowly but surely. I can no longer check porn subs on Joey for Reddit so I might try to accelerate the migration.
Yes, I did. I was a lurker and not really a heavy user. It was fun while it lasted. Let’s make this the real frontpage.
Yep, after Rif died, immediately looked for alternatives to reddit.
Trying. But the experience isn’t all there yet.
Yup, was a loyal Sync For Reddit user. Wasn’t sure how I was going to cope to be honest but Lemmy has been great so far.
Hello this is my first post here, I hope this network becomes what Reddit used to be
Yes. I am just waiting/looking for some apps that made Reddit actually usable to support
LemmyLenny. Right now the user experience is a bit lacking, with the apps I tested so far having no support for gifs and constant confusion of not being on the right instance.I have half replaced Reddit with the Fediverse and half replaced it with this exciting new discovery I made of this thing called called IRL™.
Here’s the thing. Reddit had me hooked on it like no other until the API fuck up. Pretty much dropped it on it the spot.
After the first week it dawned on me how much time I was spending there.
So while I setup here, much less time is being spent online overall. But the interaction has jumped up immensely.
My garden is looking better and I’m hitting the gym much more often.
So far this year I have gone Twitter -> Mastodon and now Reddit -> Lemmy. Not all the people/subs I used to interact with have moved, but I don’t miss them - well maybe some of the games subs but I’m sure at some point they’ll appear. In general more than happy with the move :)
I’m done with Reddit as much as I can be. Conveniently they placed a block on my account because of “suspicious activity”. So that helped.
I don’t trust anyone named Lenny. Lemmy is cool though
I have tried to but am currently using both although I only use reddit on my computer at home. Sadly I find that the content just isn’t here. Sure there’s a lot of tech and gaming stuff but if you aren’t interested in that then there isn’t all that much else
Tbh, no. I never used Reddit much.
