Watch out with that, I did it for years but eventually had to stop because I got sore skin from the gasoline in the Zippo. And I quit smoking so didn’t need it any more 🙂

“The small pocket in jeans, often referred to as the “watch pocket” or “coin pocket,” was originally designed to hold pocket watches. Nowadays, it’s commonly used for carrying small items like coins, keys, or other small objects.”

How many people using pocket watches have you come across this year?

Maybe we should bring that back! I never liked wrist watches.

I carry an electronic pocket watch everywhere i go. It’s replaced the wrist watch for me. It’s too big to fit in that pocket though, that’s where i keep my weed.

I really like pocket watches and have tried them out. Skeleton pocket watches are beautiful but kind of hard to read. Main issue is that they are usually mechanically spring powered which requires proper winding technique and doing it frequently.

Things you don’t want falling out when you dig into your pockets. I keep change there, or my bus pass, or even a zippo if you smoke

Hah, just the other day I realized the ‘tiny’ pocket on my Guess jeans is actually large enough to easily hold an entire Leatherman multitool!

Lucky me, now that I know they make their mini pockets that big, I’ll probably make sure to go for Guess jeans in the future next time I go clothes shopping 👍

Actually useful advice. I love my Leatherman, both in the rugged multitools and Folsom senses.

I’ve actually got a Gerber multitool, but I figured people would more readily recognize the Leatherman name brand and not be thinking “What the fuck, this dude keeps baby food in his pocket?” 😂🤣

Same difference in size though, same size as a Leatherman.

In literally every pair of pants I have, I use that to store a hair elastic or two. Then whenever I need my hair up (eg, eating and hair would get in the way), I have one easily on hand.
