Lighthearted, but I hate that Lego sets are all really bad. Except for Ninjago’s dragons. Which are all kind of reskinned anyway, they’re pretty bad.
I miss Castle, Kingdoms, even Nexo Knights. I bought the 100 USD Lego Castle 3-in-1 two years ago but I really resent that Lego seems to be allergic to that old genre.
Harry Potter legos are really bad. Just an awful wizard-isekai-school aesthetic.
Also, Emet-Selch is only the interesting villain because the other villains in FF14 are really tame and one dimensional and Emet-Selch benefits from a halo effect because of it.
I hate Zenos so much. Not like good antagonist hate but obnoxious bad character hate. Fuck him for ruining the ending of Endwalker. I wanted to literally just walk away after Endsinger and leave his stupid ass standing around at the end of the universe. I appreciate that Zenos is portrayed more transparently as a “not this asshole again” kind of character, unlike the beloved Emet-Selch who even unto his temporary rebirth in Ultima Thule said “My ideals are inviolate and invincible (read: He’s still proud of being a Magic nazi and viewing the sundered as lesser beings even after the context of reclaiming his memories)”
(Midgardsomr was incapacitated from the events in Omega back in Stormblood, I think.)

It annoyed me how many people were bazinga for the “that, I cannot deny” dialogue choice before the final battle with Zenos.
I wish there was some Alisaie-inspired “fuck you, you don’t get a final battle, you deserve to be lonely and unfulfilled for all you have already done” option but the best I could do was “believe what you want, but you are not leaving here.”
Yeah I wanted the same. My little sch catgirl ending up in a fistfight with that jackass was a supremely unsatisfying conclusion.

I think a lot of historical hatred for Roma/Tinkers/Travelers throughout the world comes from people in generations past being that mad at people living that way.
As a fellow ND person, I seriously relate. It was hammered into me as a kid that I needed to be a good part of capitalist society even if it didn’t make sense to me. Now that I’ve deprogrammed parts of that, I see the pointless bullshit for what it is. None of it makes sense and there’s never a reason for most of it outside of ‘because the owner of ____ said so.’

My go-to rant is that I hate it when historical dramas have fashionable, modern haircuts. I get it, Brother Bumbledorf of the Footsnifferian Monastery would look like shit with a tonsure, but if you want me to take your show seriously you can’t have a ship full of fashion models with the same undercut the guy at the fancy burger place has landing in Northbumblia to sack the village and expect me to go “oh no vikings”.

European, Brazilian, and Turkish (as shitty as the quality is) ammo brands come in compact boxes with Serbia and Bosnia having the superior quality boxes (and ammo) - Belom and Igman are quite cute. The university I went to used to not have a grading system; instead the professors would write a summary of your performance. Of course they had to change it because since there was no GPA graduates weren’t taken seriously when applying for jobs…While my classes had to be graded, I did have one professor that still wrote up a summary for me. It was so thoughtful, I wish that every class was still made to even if they did have to give a letter grade.

Every weekend I have to work 8 hours as a cartpusher/janitor/bagger until my legs die, every weekday I get more schoolwork than I can complete in that timeframe before coming home to get my phone confiscated like I’m a 12 year old so I can “focus better” on homework, I have next to no free time whatsoever, my number of friends is in the single digits and even then I can only see one or two of them in person regularly, I have no fucking clue what college to go to, my dad’s semineglectful, my mom’s a former ABA torturer, and my little brother is being raised horribly by them and will probably have to put up with it for twelve more years

I applied to the college that would get me out of my house fastest and just having some distance from my home life gave me a lot of breathing room. You’re already working hard and it sounds like getting a chance to rest and heal will do a lot to help
