    Bad analogy.

Socialism is a doctor delving into your past medical records and lifestyle to identify the cause and appropriste treatment to get you healthy,

Capitalism is having a chronic issue and being given addicting opiods that ruin sic kill your body over time increasing your dependency and removing you (the problem) from the equation eventually while the doctor ticks his list “another successful patient diagnosis” and accepts funding from the company that made the drugs.

Oh whoops that’s not an analogy. That’s literally real life.

Also socialism is phage therapy, a medical avenue that could help millions and have invalidated the worries around super bugs/mRSA in hospitals if only researched instead of being ignored because the filthy commies invented it.

Oh shit that’s a great deal in this economy, you could hustle that and resell it for at least ten times its cost and still make a profit while undercutting your competitors

The liberal also thinks capitalism keeps people fed when it causes famines and fixes bread prices, keeps them housed when it creates homelessness to drive up real estate value, and keeps them alive when it denies the poor healthcare and cannot sustain itself without unending genocidal wars. This person clearly lives in, as their “Release the Snyder Cut” brain would put it, “Bizarro World”.

hooooly shit this person is comparing the “”“”““work””“”“”" economists do to that of doctors

economists are the definition of fiddling with levers. marxian economists are the closest to actual scientifically understanding economies (because materialism and political economy) and even that’s a stretch Richard-D-Wolff

Economists are more the definition of a tenured professor/clergyman, they don’t know shit about supply chains and engineering

Nobody who talks about economics like that person has even passed econ 101/102. I know this because I can explain why they’re wrong using only what I learned in econ 101/102. Though to be fair, nobody who actually understood econ 101/102 would support capitalism at all.
