I love KFC, when me and my family are poor(and still are) i would go and eat KFC like almost every single week and it was cheap here + Delicious aswell. I loved KFC Fries the Most, it was so delicious. If i had enough money, i would buy enough of KFC and be a fat man in the week LMAO
So what fast food do you love?
Fast food’s become preposterously expensive, so I basically refuse to partake of anything I can make myself.
As a result, Osmow’s. Making my own shawarma is outside my ability, so this is the one place I can see myself regularly visiting. God I love shawarma.
I don’t think I’ve ever tried Osmow’s, but it’s hard to throw a rock here in Ottawa without hitting a shawarma place. The flavours of a shawarma are truly amazing; it’s miles ahead of any other fast foodstuff. (provided, of course, you like garlic.)
I wouldn’t say I love it, but Panda Express is my go-to when I’m hungry and there’s one nearby.
zaxby’s. those tenders tossed in tongue torch sauce and then dipped in ranch hits. the fries aren’t too bad either.
Honestly? Mcdonalds. They’re (reasonably) cheap, pretty consistent, and still decent enough that I think “Yeah, I didn’t mind spending two bucks on that.”
Like it’s not the best food ever or anything, but if I ever want a super quick breakfast or kinda crappy burger and don’t feel like making one myself, then I just hit up the nearest Mcdonalds.
I love the blueberry pomegranate smoothie, the new chicken wraps are pretty delicious too
I swear they sprinkle crack on those fries.
Mcdonalds fries are top tier
I used to like them, but lately I’ve gravitated to Wendy’s fries. It’s not even the beef fat/vegetable oil switch that happened back in the 90s??? or whatever, I just think I prefer thicker potato cuts for my fries.
I’ll fight someone who tells me I shouldn’t have McDonald’s breakfast burritos. I don’t eat them because I want a good breakfast burrito, I eat them because I want those specific breakfast burritos.
EXACTLY! Like, man, if I wanted a good breakfast sandwich, I’d make it myself or hit up one of the local places. But I don’t want a good one, I want a McDonalds one.
@DocSophie This reminds me of Spacer’s choice slogan from Outer Worlds.
“It’s not the best choice, it’s
Spacer’s choiceMcDonalds”
I’m not a fan of the burgers. In general would rather just not get anything if that’s the option. But their fries and breakfast items? The chicken nuggets? Yes. Hands down some of the best. I will fight someone for a McGriddle.
Taco Bell is the best by far!
The cheesy bean and rice burritos are great, potato soft tacos too.
Any meat can be substituted for beans making it super vegetarian friendly.Shredded chicken burrito was the best thing ever
Hands down disagree. Taco Bell is only the best until you’ve had Taco John’s. Potato Oles are so good…and you can get churros.
Went there this week and they have shrimp mango tacos.
But Taco John’s is regional, so a lot of us will never try them.
A lot of the responses here are chains that are regional. Harvey’s (Canada), Xaxby’s and A&W just to mention a few.
I have issues with dairy now and Taco Bell is the saddest place on earth for me. My wife will always want it and I miss the cheese so much.
@dominoko Taco Bell is 100% the best and honestly probably one of the healthier options.
I sense a conflict of interests 😁
good looking out ✌🏾
Nice to see the Fediverse hasn’t lost that certain charm
XDDDDDD
In-N-Out, hands down. I moved out of California years ago, but whenever I come to visit, In-N-Out is always my first meal.
I’ve recently gone back to Burger King and it seems as though they’ve improved the quality of their product from a few years ago where eating it would make me sick. Whopper and Onion Rings every once in awhile just absolutely hits the spot
Popeyes, Chick-Fil-A, Burger King.
Raising Cane’s!!
I turn feral for their chicken.Bah, literally every chicken finger place is better than Cain’s.
Cain’s sauce is pretty good, but it needs to be, because the chicken is well prepared but utterly flavorless. It’s like if you told a Star Trek replicator to make chicken.
Yeah the chicken is mostly a vehicle for the sauce but the texture and moisture in that chicken is excellent. It is rather bland, though.
Duuuuuude I’m right there with you. Love that sauce.
Hot chicken hot chicken what combo you pickin?
I used to go insane for Canes it’s SO GOOD. It’s so far away from me now and in a downtown location but I miss them. I used to live within walking distance and …it was a problem lol. The walk there and back was absolutely not enough to work off even 1 strip.
I think Wendy’s is always my favorite. They just have more flavor when it comes to burgers and their fries.
McDonald’s used to be great burger wise but their nuggets are literally card board flavored.Shelby’s Shwarma here in Canada. Hits different than Osmows and is a small enough franchise to actually still give a crap. I think they have a dozen locations in Ontario right now.
This is the kind of expert intelligence I’m here for.
Our Texas chains a pretty good. Whataburger has been nerfed a bit since a PE firm bought them, b,ut they’ve still got half a dozen specialty menu items that are really good and regionally tailored.
Taco Bueno is one step up (but probably only one) from Taco Bell, but again, it’s about being regionally tailored. It’s pure Tex-Mex, with chili con carne available as a sauce, focusing on slightly chunky salsa roja, seasonal tamales, etc.
I live in Canada and I have a real soft spot for Harvey’s and A&W. A&W is just a really top-tier burger joint, and Harvey’s is a bit like the Subway of burgers (in that they build the burger in front of you with custom ingredients). If I could only eat at one fast food place for the rest of my life, I’d definitely pick Harvey’s
Bless Harvey’s for Frings. I can never choose between the two so Frings has been amazing ever since I was a kid.
Sonic. That shit is so good. I always drop like $25 because there’s so many delicious choices. Poppers, burgers, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken. I want to open one of my own, but they require a net worth of 1 million, minimum, to get in the franchise door.
My husband and I love Sonic when we go to the US. We will drive a reasonable distance out of our way to get it and we never regret it.
And I just saw the closest is just under 7 hours from us and 30 minutes from a family friend. We may or may not be half-jokingly planning a road trip for Sonic after 5.5 years since our last taste. Please accept all the credit!
I tried, but I really can’t find any fault in this plan. You should make a photo diary of this quest.
