      If you’re wondering, 5 percent of white college students adds up to about 3.75 million people who aren’t necessarily addicts and are effectively wasting supply of the drug.

            It’s mainly because of a manufacturing issue. Increased demand is certainly a factor but there is undeniably much less stimulant medication available than normal from manufacturers.

                The government actually limits how much each manufacturer is allowed to produce, that’s the actual cause of the shortage.
