As someone who does my own basic maintenance on my car, this is why I triple check everything when putting wheels back on.

The description of what happened makes it sound like a cartoon . EDIT: Actually just reading it again, I can’t tell if the wheels fell off or the tyres came off the rims?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink5•2 months agoConsider that this was written by a journalist, who are often not that bright, what I suspect happened is aftermarket rims were fitted to the vehicle, and didn’t fit. Either way, it would have been the entire wheel most likely.
