Why are most people here are negative and rude?
Just to be clear here, I am not talking about instance, rather I am asking about the whole community.
There is no one I seen here who even had expressed any passion towards anything really.
I cannot understand how did that happen?
Lol yesh they got obsessed with me to the point that I had to delete old accounts. Like I posted a story about how I kept calling out a developer for always hyping and never delivering and even lying. They basically would not let me post it on any other community and they even successfully got shit post c/ to delete the story.
Funniest thing is that I posted it to a obscure 200 followers community and one of them still found it and started attacking me.
These people are hilarious. They’re petty and I’m petty, and they’re the embodiment of anger (irrational) mod
Yep, I have similar stories. I recently had a guy follow me to a science sub, where I posted a science article. He downvoted, then commented about how much I was “despised.”
And even said that if I posted that the “sky was blue,” I’d get the middle finger.
And another where the same guy bragged that he was purposely “poking” me to get me to “snap.” Lemmy, man… LOL

I’m anti corporations so I’m happy if corporations lose audience do to their audience doing their own thing.

It’s definitely been an adventure. I was banned from a politics sub because they thought I was an alt username from some other banned conservative person. Not because of what I posted or what I said, but because they thought I was an alt of a entirely different conservative poster. Which I’m not, by the way. lmao
But yeah, I ignore all the peer pressure here.
Lemmy isn’t open to alternative voices… yet. But I think we’ll eventually get big enough to allow people of all viewpoints here–which many people here DON’T want, and that’s why the pushback.
