A Conservative MP is giving up his seat to allow Pierre Poilievre to run in a byelection after Prime Minister Mark Carney said he’d be ready to call one “as soon as possible.”
Can’t start today. Not until the byelection is called. Carney doesn’t have to call one for 6 months. And why should he? The voters there don’t want another election so soon. They just voted someone who abandoned their post!
Well he can talk to Fanjoy today. Carney said he’ll call it immediately if they want that. I think that’s a solid move. I like that he is a no bs guy and doesn’t play games.
