From Cape Ann Wildlife

Some of vou may remember this sweet little Screech Owlet that came through a while back. He’d been found grounded in someone’s yard after a cat attack and spent some time resting up in Erin’s care. We’re excited to report that he’s made a full recovery, has been federally banded and was released back with his family. Big thanks to all who helped make his recovery and reunion a success! Enjoy these wonderful photos by : René Meuse of our little friends big day and special thanks to Jesse Brad for banding him for us!

And he is - it’s just that I almost scrolled by because I expected it to be some corrupt police story at first glance.

The guy is much more apparent than the owl, especially during scrolling.

I debated which photo to use for the leading image. I chose this one as we’ve had people like the wife from the Owl Rescue Centre get featured, so I thought I’d highlight the nice young guy since we usually get more young ladies in the photos. Gotten even things out when I can! 😜

I thought his expression was rather harmless and we occasionally get some photos of nice ladies, and I wanted the fellas to be represented some too!

The way he is clutching the floofed up owl is also funny/cute.

With my looks and where I live, I get mistaken for a MAGA type a lot by strangers, which I am most certainly not. It’s important we focus on actions, not looks!
