From Cape Ann Wildlife

Some of vou may remember this sweet little Screech Owlet that came through a while back. He’d been found grounded in someone’s yard after a cat attack and spent some time resting up in Erin’s care. We’re excited to report that he’s made a full recovery, has been federally banded and was released back with his family. Big thanks to all who helped make his recovery and reunion a success! Enjoy these wonderful photos by : René Meuse of our little friends big day and special thanks to Jesse Brad for banding him for us!

Yeah, it is doing reasonable well, but when I get a big disparity between posts, it always makes me wonder what is going on, as I don’t get any stats/feedback about who likes or dislikes posts. Also most posts will end up with one downvote, which I assume is a random click, but this one had a second so that had me wondering if there was something people actively disliked about it.

I feel I’m almost always wrong about which post of the day will be most popular, which I don’t care too much about, but I just want to try and present stuff in the way you all like, but I never know why my mind is working differently than the group’s as a whole. It’s just my curiosity.

I always try to bring you the best of the best!

There’s a lot where they’re really nice photos, but a little too plain, and now is baby season for many owls, but the babies haven’t seemed as popular so I’ve been trying not to do too many of them, but also not too few, but I always find plenty of cool things we haven’t seen yet. I don’t post things that are just there, it’s gotta get me excited at least a bit!

I’m glad all of you find this stuff at least a fraction as interesting as I do, and I always love hearing about how it is a positive thing in your lives that you look forward to!
