minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•8 days agoYeah that sounds like it might just be a dodgy download. It’s been a while since I played around with other distros (I am old and can’t be bothered and run Ubuntu now) but mint used to be my go to for older machines. It’s lighter then ubuntu
