Sorry for the headline. I don’t know why they don’t just say it’s Vivek Ramaswamy.

To that end, I will accept Russian control of the occupied territories and pledge to block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Russia exiting its military alliance with China. I will end sanctions and bring Russia back into the world market. In this way, I will elevate Russia as a strategic check on China’s designs in East Asia.

If you want about 20 more, go watch the debate. Every time he spoke was a reason not to vote for him.

If I remember correctly from the debate, Haley was the only one that seemed to have a nuanced view of the issue.

IMO, roe should have been kept in place until a workable nuanced solution could have been found, and with the way Washington works, we’d all be long dead by the time that happened.

If Congress is too scared to make laws, that they leave it up for the courts, then the default should be to let the people choose for themselves. If someone thinks abortion is wrong, no one is forcing them to have one. And if a there are complications that require one, they can still be done safely.

If people are going to make abortion and black and white issue, the pro-choice is the only logical solution as it gives everyone what they want for themselves and their families.

I’m not surprised Congress didn’t do anything. It’s too sensitive an issue and they are all worried about getting re-elected. Personally, I think if they aren’t willing to have these hard talks to figure this stuff out they should all be removed from office for failure to fulfill their duty.

This is why the judges get lifetime appointments. They don’t want elections or anything to interfere with their ability to interpret the law to the best of their ability.

Any time this stuff goes to the court, Congress failed. They had almost 50 years to actually codify something into law and they didn’t. Hell, they can’t even get the removal of daylight saving time passed, which would be almost universally loved. That’s a slam dunk, but nope… incompetent idiots.

Exactly. Do something so the country can move on and adapt instead of having this cloud over everyone, wonder if and when their state will do something too drastic.
