My biggest concern with leaving Reddit is that I was primarily there to push public opinion towards sanity. Now with people who were willing to take a stand against authority leaving, how hard is the most popular discussion site going to shift right?
That’s the only real difference I see. People here want less authoritarianism (generally), and are willing to sacrifice something to get there.

The differences between here and current Reddit are interesting, but aren’t as simple as everything bad is Reddit’s fault. Certainly not this.
