I’ve got one on Tuesday that looks like my best shot at a new job since I got laid off in the summer. It’s with a vice president of the company and the person whose position I’m filling since she got promoted
I’m just a little weirdo, I don’t know how to make them want to hire me
Not directly applicable in this situation since it’s so close, but I think this is good general advice. Interviewing is a skill that you can practice by applying for shitty jobs you don’t want and interviewing for them. It’s a lot less pressure when you know you’re gonna reject the offer and you can just get into the flow of talking about yourself and not freezing up on curveballs.
