I literally volunteer for a child sex abuse prevention organization. And yes, if we truly care about preventing child sex abuse then we need to acknowledge that there is a difference between pedophiles (people attracted to prepubescent children) and child sex abusers (people who sexually abuse children) (spoiler: most people that sexually abuse children, are not attracted to prepubescent children, and therefore do not fit the criteria of being pedophiles)
