I think this is the best of the “oh no the earth will die we need to solve it!” films. I think it gets things just right :)

Is this the one where they’re like " it’s easier to teach a driller to be an astronaut than teach an astronaut to be a driller." Or something like that?
This is the more realistic one where astronauts do the drilling. You’re thinking of Armageddon.

I love that movie. It was so brutally honest. I think of it often.
The one that introduced the term ELE into the vernacular
This was up against Armageddon and is the better of the two movies but isn’t as fun.
