Aldi is basically the same company if you have one near you; Aldi (US) is Aldi Süd, whereas Trader Joe’s is Aldi Nord.

Considering they make the cashiers create “small talk” I think they need a union more than any other chain. That shit is inhumane. Making them dress like Jimmy Buffett groupies is also pretty shameful.
